Dogpatch Boulders Lockers. Overflowing with arts and culture experiences, delicious dining

  • Overflowing with arts and culture experiences, delicious dining and beautiful waterfront parks, Dogpatch is becoming San Francisco’s new “it” neighborhood. Read our insider's guide to SF's coolest neighborhood. The neighborhood’s dramatic reinvention, where ship building has given way to art spaces and coffee roasters, is a vivid case study in urban transformation. Do you offer classes for beginners? Yes! We offer climbing classes for all levels. Dogpatch was the fictional setting of cartoonist Al Capp 's classic comic strip Li'l Abner (1934–1977). Historical Dogpatch is an approximately nine-block enclave of industrial workers’ housing located east of Potrero Hill, in San Francisco’s Central Waterfront district. We offer incredible climbing terrain; you will find hundreds of boulder problems adorning slab walls, steep overhangs, dihedrals, and corners. Walk along to learn how waves of boom and bust transformed this area from the Gold Rush through modern day. The facility is inside an adapted warehouse space, originally built for American Can Company in the 1950s. You can easily find us on Google Maps.
